Storm damage documented right, so your claim starts on solid footing.

A roof insurance claim is not complicated, but it is easy to get wrong when a contractor over promises. Here is exactly what I do and what I do not do, so you know what you are getting.

  • Free inspection, free estimate, always
  • Licensed and insured, BBB A+ accredited
  • 30 year manufacturer warranty on shingles

Insurance claim help

By the book, on your side

What I do

  • A free inspection with thorough, dated photo documentation of the storm damage
  • Meet your insurance adjuster on the roof and walk them through what I found
  • Complete the repair or replacement to code once your claim is approved, matching the approved scope

What I do not do

I am not a public insurance adjuster and I do not file or negotiate your claim for you. Texas law does not allow a contractor to pay, waive, absorb or rebate your insurance deductible, and I follow the law. If a roofer offers to eat your deductible, walk away, because it puts you at risk too.

How a storm claim usually goes

  • I document the damage and give you the photos
  • You file the claim with your carrier
  • The adjuster inspects the roof, and I meet them there
  • Your carrier approves the scope of work
  • We complete the work and the final invoice matches the approved scope

Will you waive my deductible?

No. Texas law prohibits a contractor from paying, waiving, absorbing or rebating an insurance deductible, and I follow it. Any roofer who offers to is putting both of us at risk.

Do you file the claim for me?

No, you file with your own carrier. What I do is document the damage thoroughly and meet your adjuster on the roof so the approved scope reflects the real damage.

What if my claim is denied?

You still keep the photo report, and we can talk through your options, including a straightforward out of pocket quote if you decide to move ahead without a claim.
